Project: Provide a highly visible major donor naming opportunity using 12" high cut letters on the exterior of a building’s facade.

Solution: We looked at several possible placements for the letters but only an overhead hanging solution was feasible. The challenge was hanging the letters about 20 feet above the ground and attaching them to a metal and glass overhang. The letters were all stainless steel to withstand the elements, as was the hardware. In all the letters spanned 48 feet long.

To accomplish the installation we devised a system where all the letters were attached to a stainless steel angle bar that then was affixed to the metal part of the overhang. Special bucket trucks were brought in and the work was done at night so as not to shut down access to the hospital. Job was done and on schedule.

As a bonus recognition, since this was a very important supporter of the hospital, the entrance doors to the center were sand blasted (on site) and color filled white to read strongly against the dark background of the smoky glass.
