Client: Sparta Cancer Center
Project: Create donor recognition for a site that is part of a tri-city campaign under the Newton Memorial Hospital banner.
Solution: The donor recognition for this facility was based on the design conventions developed for Newton Memorial Hospital. The donor wall was one of our runners walls with a deep carved sand blasted glass panel and the tri-city logo affixed to its face. The cut lettering was all stainless steel. The one unique element developed especially for Sparta was a donor shadowbox honoring Frederick and Betty Smith who provided the lead gift to build this center. This shadowbox was built from wood matched to the runners wall, a photo imbedded plaque of the two donors and a sand blasted glass panel giving a brief history of the Smiths.
Shadowboxes like the one done for the Sparta Center are a way to give your major donors recognition that will span time. Because of the photo and bio, noone will ever ask who are the Smiths.
